Alumni
Where do we go from here?
With great reluctance we say goodbye to our 8th graders each June. During graduation we marvel at how much each individual 8th grader has matured, grown, and thrived during his/her time at RMDS.
While we miss them immediately, high schools throughout the Bay Area are thrilled to have RMDS alumni enrolled in their schools. High schools report to us that our alumni are great assets in every part of school life. We hear that our students are extremely articulate and add much to class discussions because of their time learning at our Harkness tables. In addition, many RMDS alumni test out of freshman level math and Spanish classes after our rigorous Middle School math and language program. Not only do our alumni become leaders in academics, but also athletics and performing arts during their freshman year.
Everyone at Ring Mountain wishes all of our alumni the best in the future and every year we welcome them back with open arms at our October Alumni Night where the alumni share their wisdom about applying to, and attending high school.
With pride, we share our great successes with High School Placement.
