Technology : Facilities
Ring Mountain maintains a state of the art computer network to facilitate academic computing. Both wired and wireless access is provided throughout our campus. We currently maintain a student-to-computer ratio of less than 2:1, not including faculty-use equipment.
Starting in the third grade, all students are provided a computer account which “travels” with them throughout the school and throughout their years at Ring Mountain. Regardless of whether a student is using a laptop to conduct research in our library, word-processing a paper in a English classroom, or presenting data in science, their own personalized desktop, settings, and files appear when they log on to a computer. Thus computer use becomes a seamless part of their academic lives regardless of which resources they are making use of at any given time.
