Giving

Since its foundation in1976 Ring Mountain Day School’s progressive educational program has provided structure and balance giving each child a strong foundation for future learning. Throughout its history, Ring Mountain has fostered a climate where excellence in learning and independence of thought are both highly prized. This program has been made possible by the many generous donors who have invested in the life and promise of the school.

The moment you walk through the doors of Ring Mountain Day School it is evident what a very special place it is.  RMDS has a history of excellence which is manifested in our engaged students, the dedication of our teachers and the commitment of our administration. Each year as a community we come together in support of an important fundraising initiative. The Annual Fund is long-standing traditions at RMDS.

RMDS students benefit from the significant volunteering and generous contributions of our current parents, grandparents, alumni and friends. The Annual Fund proceeds are used to fund the current year’s operating budget so each gift immediately impacts each child and the entire student body.  The Annual Fund raised approximately $180,000 last year, with more than 98% of our families participating. Our goal this year is to get 100% participation.

While your family is a part of this wonderful community, we hope that RMDS will be amongst your highest philanthropic priorities.  Through the generous gifts of the RMDS families we have developed into a thriving school and we will continue to flourish with your steadfast support.

The Annual Fund runs from September through April. Each fall, the campaign starts with a letter from the school, followed by telephone call and email reminders from a volunteer. Volunteers are organized by class level, with parents in each class being contacted by their own Class Captain.

Gifts can also be made to the Annual Fund online.  Your may also print out the Annual Fund pledge card and return it to RMDS.  There are many other ways for community member to get involved in the Annual Fund in addition to making a gift.  Please contact Bobbi Perez if you would like to be a Class Captain or take on any other leadership role in any of RMDS’ fund-raising initiatives.
