Annual Fund

The Annual Fund represents Ring Mountain Day School’s core giving program and supports the daily operating budget and the school’s continuing needs. Each year current parents, alumni, alumni parents, grandparents and friends are asked to participate in the School’s Annual Fund which bridges the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each Ring Mountain student. Annual Fund gifts support the daily lives of students and teachers by supporting the School’s programs. A strong Annual Fund ensures the high-quality education and comprehensive programs Ring Mountain students deserve. These funds go where they’re most needed and, in a very real sense, support every student and every program of the school.

An acknowledgment of your gift will be sent to you for your records.

Annual Fund Appeal Q & A

WHAT IS THE ANNUAL FUND APPEAL?
The Annual Fund Appeal is a direct appeal to trustees, parents, grandparents, alumni parents, alumni, faculty, staff and friends for financial contributions in support of the school’s operating budget.

DO CORPORATIONS AND FOUNDATIONS SUPPORT THE ANNUAL FUND?
Corporations typically contribute to independent schools by offering matching gifts to their employees’ contributions. Several families in our school are able to double their personal contributions through their employer’s matching gift programs - you may want to check with your employer to see if such a program is in place where you work.

WHY IS PARTICIPATION IMPORTANT?
The school’s financial strength is dependent upon the participation of all members of its constituency. Your participation generates enthusiasm and encourages others to join you in supporting the school, and it is a key indicator to foundation and corporate donors that we have consistent support from those we serve, both past and present.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?
You are the only one who knows how much you are able to give, and we ask only that you give to the best of your ability.
